Having had the privilege of spending two decades photographing children in their own spaces taught me the value of meeting my subjects on their terms. Now, with my lens turned to the unique, intimate, and beautiful relationship between horses and their humans, I continue to find that the purest art comes from the hearth. My equine photography sessions are most productive when you to invite me to the place where you and your horses are most comfortable - whether that is the stable in dawn's light or while riding. Spending time with equestrians nurtures my own equine passion, fostered at age three when my dad led me on old, blind Popcorn. Life has brought me back to the barn. My goal is to create a work of art that reflects the dignity and intimacy of the relationship you have fostered with your horse.
